Kellie started developing her love for flowers at an early age. Her love for designing and event planning blossomed through jobs and opportunities throughout her career. She has been able to work closely with several flower shops both locally and around Indiana. Born and raised in Crawfordsville, her roots have always brought her back home. Kellie has planned, designed, decorated, and executed events for guests such as Ivanka Trump, MC Hammer, Gov Holcomb, Congressman Baird, Wabash College, Indiana Department of Corrections, Conseco, The Rolling Stones, and countless others. Weddings are especially enjoyable for Kellie. She loves working closely with brides to make their wishes a reality. She has designed flowers, decorated, and planned events in several states including, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, and Colorado. Kellie's attention to detail and creative energy means that your flowers, events, and gifts will be unforgettable.

About A Sprig of Lime

A Sprig Of Lime carries on the rich history and tradition of Milligan’s Flowers and Gifts. Dale Milligan started the shop in Crawfordsville in 1958. Dale passed it down to his daughter Susan Rosen. Kellie Maxwell-Algate was thrilled to be able to help Susan retire by purchasing Milligan’s Flowers and Gifts in October 2025. She changed the name to A Sprig Of Lime.

We have retained the staff that our clients have come to know and love. Our staff help us everyday to carry on the tradition of beautiful flowers and great service.

We are a family owned business built on the dreams Kellie had when she was just a teen. Our staff is so excited to be a part of our clients most memorable events.
